Initiative on the removal of the body of Communist leader Vladimir Lenin from the Mausoleum in Moscow with the aim of further burials will not be widely welcomed among the masses.

This view is stated by the first Vice-speaker of the State Duma from the Communist party Ivan Melnikov. About it reports “Russian conversation”, citing RIA “Novosti”.

According to him, the authors of such initiatives only recall such gestures of its own existence.

“When I hear another statement about the removal of Lenin’s body, or the attack on the Mausoleum, whoever raised the issue, the idea comes one thing: these people want to remind myself, better a theme not found”, – said Melnikov.

He believes that the personality of Lenin is proud of world and national history. He was buried in full accordance with Orthodox traditions, which many times before had proved .

The official noted that, apparently, many people don’t want to work on solving urgent problems, which is why we see such initiatives.

Previously, “Russian conversation” was told that such a proposal was expressed in the ROC. In particular, the structure of the Church expressed the need for the reburial of Lenin as a historical figure is one of the greatest torturers of the last century.
