MOSCOW, June 12. /TASS/. The national team of Iran with the score 2:0 defeated the team of Uzbekistan in a home match of the qualifying stage of the world championship on football of 2018 and guaranteed to itself participation in the tournament, which will be held in Russia.

In the next match of world Cup qualifiers the Iranian national team will play against South Korea. The Uzbeks also will meet with Chinese. Both matches will be held on August 31.

In the third stage of Asian qualifying for the world Cup 12 teams are divided into two groups. The world championship is guaranteed to play four Asian teams (two from each group), the teams took the third places, will play among themselves butt matches, the winner of which will compete for a place in the tournament with a representative of the other football Confederation.
