The military Prosecutor’s office of Vinnytsia garrison together with management of internal and private security South of the State border service and the State Bureau of investigation in Khmelnytsky arrested the local police inspector of the border while receiving improper benefits.

As reports a press-service of military Prosecutor of the Central region of Ukraine, it is established that the district inspector of border service Department “Yampil” Mohyliv-Podilskyi border guard detachment established criminal scheme of systematic extortion.

For a “reward” he was instrumental in the citizens in the violation of the border regime on the state border and fishing regulations border on the Dniester river. In exchange for a bribe, he did not attract infringers to administrative responsibility.

“The detained Sergeant guards plan a notice of suspicion in committing a crime under part 3 St. 368 Criminal code of Ukraine. Also in court will receive a petition for election to it measures of restraint in form of detention”, – is spoken in the message.
