MOSCOW, April 6. /Offset. TASS Artem Kuznetsov/. Veteran of Russian national team on jumps on skis from a springboard Dmitry Vasilyev was not included in the number of athletes that will be preparing for the Olympic season in the national team. His name was not on the list of athletes caught on centralized training, which TASS announced the Vice-President of the Federation of jumping at ski jumping and Nordic combined of Russia Vladimir Slavsky.

On Thursday, a meeting of the Presidium of the Federation, which discussed preparation of the Russian team for the Olympic games 2018 in South Korea’s Pyeongchang.

The men’s team were eight athletes: Evgeniy Klimov, Denis Kornilov, Alexey Romashov, Roman Trofimov, Alexander Bazhenov, Mikhail Nazarov, Vadim Shishkin, Mikhail Maksimochkin .

In the women’s team included six athletes: Irina avvakumova, Anastasia Barannikova, Sofya Tikhonova, Aleksandra Kustova, Xenia Kablukov and Alexander Barantsev.

37-year-old Vasiliev at the world championship in the Finnish Lahti has occupied 24-e a place in competition on the large hill, in the third ten it was and at the end start at the medium springboard.

Vasiliev is a multiple medalist of world Cup stages, repeated champion of Russia, participated in the Olympic games 2006 and 2014 and nine world Championships.
