SAINT PETERSBURG, may 17. /Offset. TASS Oleg Serdobol/. The movie “first Time” directed by Dmitry Kiselev about the pioneers of space was awarded the Grand Prix XXV festival “Vivat cinema of Russia!”, finished today in St. Petersburg. The ceremony took place at the Youth theatre on the Fontanka.

Exceptionally, the festival established the prize, which is awarded to a member of the jury, a prominent Russian cameraman Yuri Klimenko, who worked with major Directors of his time, including Sergei Parajanov, Kira Muratova, Sergei Solovyov, Alexei Herman-father, Alexei Uchitel. The master awarded the prize “For creative contribution to Russian cinema”.

The audience award was awarded to Director and screenwriter of the film “the unexpected” Viktor Merezhko. In accepting the award, he said: “the Jury is my friend, but the audience more.”

Two awards received at the festival painting “the Collector” directed by Alexei Krasovsky, who created the roles, where in the frame there is only one character, played by Konstantin Khabensky. The Director got the press prize and a special prize “for boldness of design and the accuracy of its implementation”.

At the anniversary festival of five days has been shown 142 of the film, which was watched by 20 million viewers.
