The former member of spetsnaz GRU Nikita Belyankin was killed on 2 June in the village Putilkovo, Krasnogorsk district, Moscow region once stood up for the men who were beaten by several people. The young man received a fatal stab wound. On Friday, June 7, the Russian Investigative Committee detained the eighth suspect in the case. The name of the detainee is not disclosed. Currently, it conducts investigations.

The Investigative Committee also said that seven of the detained defendants in the case have already been arrested.

Recall, the media reported that the brawl, which killed Belyankin, allegedly provoked Alexander Sergeyev, offensive comment on other visitors of the cafe where the incident occurred. In addition, the media told how Nikita fought for his life during the fight.
