The participants of the coordination meeting on reforming military-industrial complex (MIC), which was held under the chairmanship of the Secretary of the Council of national security and defense Council (NSDC) Alexander Danilyuk, decided on the model of reforming the state concern “Ukroboronprom” and agreed to conduct a comprehensive audit of state concern.

“Following the meeting, a decision was made to the public authority which fulfils the role of shareholder of SC “Ukroboronprom”, the structure and principles of formation and work of the Supervisory Board, build marketing strategies and sales system in the GC “Ukroboronprom.” In addition, the meeting reached agreement on a comprehensive audit of concern”, – said the press service of the NSDC on Friday.

“Ukroboronprom” has become an example of an effective system of management of the state company. Given the specifics, it should be a business with a clear core mission – providing the Ukrainian military with everything necessary”, – said danyluk.

The meeting was attended by members of the Supervisory Board of SC “Ukroboronprom”, the General Director of the group, advisers to the Secretary of the NSDC staff of the national security Council. In addition, the U.S. government was represented by senior counselor of the US military-industrial complex of Ukraine Donald winter, chargé d’affaires of the USA in Ukraine William Taylor, U.S. Embassy staff and the military departments.

Danyluk thanked the winter and the U.S. government for the provision of qualified expert assistance in reforming the military-industrial complex of Ukraine.
