At the meeting of the Council of national security and defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine has not addressed the issue of the termination of passenger rail services between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
“The question of the cessation of passenger transportation by rail in Russia at the meeting of the Council was not considered”, – said the press service of the national security Council in response to the request of the Agency “Interfax-Ukraine”.
Earlier Thursday it was reported that PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, state monopoly of railway transportation in Ukraine, has not taken any decision on the abolition of the transportation of passengers between Ukraine and the Russian Federation and did not receive such prescriptions from the parent bodies of state power.
About it to Agency “Interfax-Ukraine” reported the press-centre of PJSC Thursday, commenting on Russian media reports that Ukraine intends to cancel passenger service Ukraine-Russia from 1 July .
It also noted that tickets for trains in the message are in the open market.
