The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky has appointed Alexey Danilov, Secretary of the national security Council and defence of Ukraine, before dismissing from the post of Deputy Secretary of the NSDC.

The relevant decrees No. 733/2019 and No. 732/2019 of October 3, published on the official website of the Ukrainian President on Thursday.

On 24 July the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky has appointed Alexey Danilov Deputy Secretary of Council of national security and defense Council (NSDC).

“To appoint Danilov Alexei Myacheslavovich Deputy Secretary of the NSDC”, – stated in the decree of the President dated July 23, 2019, published on the website of the President.

According to information from open sources, Danilov in 2005, was the head of Lugansk regional state administration. People’s Deputy of Ukraine of 5th convocation (from may 2006 to November 2007).
