The national security Council should initiate the blocking of the separatist sites, said I. Gerashchenko.

First Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s representative to the Humanities subgroup of the Trilateral contact group (TAG) Irina Gerashchenko believes that the need to expand the list of banned Internet resources in Ukraine separatist sites.

“Why the separatist websites freely operate in Ukraine? We journalists refer to them from morning till evening,” said she, speaking at the international conference “Reintegration of Donbass in the conditions of hybrid war” on Tuesday in Kyiv.

I. Gerashchenko emphasized that these Internet resources of the Ukrainian army called “the Punisher”, “junta”, and the events of 2014 in Ukraine – the “coup” .

“There is a question to the Council of security and defence: why is this issue not considered during brand proper discussion on Russian sites, who worked as recruitment agencies and recruited fighters? … Obviously, we will direct queries from people’s deputies of Ukraine to the Council of national security and defence, the relevant Ministry that we are going to do,” she said of intent.

As reported, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko enacted NSDC decision on sanctions against social networks “Vkontakte” and “Classmates”, “Mail.ru”, “Yandex” and their services. Access to all services of “Yandex” and Mail.ru banned for three years.
