Russian businessman Grigory Guselnikov on radio “Echo of Moscow” said that after the completion of the sale of Ukrainian “daughter” of “Sberbank” of RF, the asset will be renamed to Norvik banka, the major shareholder of which he is.

“It (the Bank – ed.) will be renamed. Apparently, he will be named Norvik banka’s because he is a child of European Norvik banka” – said Gusel’nikov.

According to him, the rebranding will work in the interests of both the buyer and the seller.

Earlier Sberbank reached agreement on the sale of its Ukrainian subsidiary to a consortium of investors. Buyers are Norvik Banka (Latvia) and private Belarusian company. Grigory Guselnikov (via Norvik Banka) will acquire 45%, said Gutseriev, the owner of the Belarusian company— 55% .
