Former US Ambassador to the UN John Bolton, in April, will replace General Herbert McMaster on a post of the adviser of the President of the United States national security, according to the American leader, Donald trump.
“I am pleased to announce that, since April 9 of 2018, John Bolton will be my new national security adviser. I am very grateful for the service of General G. McMaster, who has done an outstanding job and will remain my friend,” wrote D. trump in the microblog in “tvittere”.
He stressed that “the official transfer of cases will take place on 9 April.”
American politician John Bolton from 1989 to 1993 he held the position of assistant Secretary of state for international organizations. From 2001 to 2005 he was Deputy Secretary of state for arms control.
In 2005, he became the U.S. permanent representative to the UN, having worked in the Organization for more than a year . Since 2007 holds the position of senior researcher at the American enterprise Institute.
John.Bolton is known for his conservative views on foreign policy. He is a supporter of a tough line against countries such as North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Russia.
