On Thursday evening, June 22, security forces suddenly raided the investigative actions in the office of the Ukrainian Internet-editions “Country” , known for its opposition and Pro-Russian editorial policy.

As stated by the Deputy chief editor Svetlana Kryukova, broke into the office to twenty representatives of the security Service of Ukraine and the National police, having begun to carry out in the wording of the search, according to “Russian conversation”.

Because of the actions of law enforcement officers and security forces the work of the editorial staff was temporarily blocked, and journalists were expelled from office. Chief editor of “Country” Igor Guzhva on his page in the social network reported that the search is carried out on fabricated charges.

Officials have not commented on what is happening in the editorial office of “Country”.

The online edition of “Country” is known in Ukraine as one of the biggest opposition media with Pro-Russian editorial policy.
