TASS, 8 Feb. The organizing Committee of the International football Federation (FIFA) has agreed to increase the number of players in the preliminary applications of teams for the world Cup 2018 from 30 to 35 people. This reports the press service of FIFA.

“Given the feedback from coaches who attended the seminar, which was held in Moscow on the final draw, the organizing Committee of FIFA has agreed to increase the number of players included in the expanded application of 30 to 35 people, – said in a release. – In addition, FIFA may issue an extended request with the permission of the national Federation. These amendments to the rules of conduct of the 2018 world Cup must be approved by the Council of FIFA at the meeting to be held in Bogota on March 16”.

The preliminary squads for the world Cup 2018 should be provided to FIFA by may 14, the final application of the 23 people – up to 4 June.

The world Cup will be held in Russia from 14 June to 15 July.
