Permanent Council of the Organization for security and cooperation in Europe renewed the mandate of the Special monitoring mission to Ukraine until March 31, 2018. About it reports a press-service of the OSCE.
“This decision sets a budget in the amount of 105.5 million euros for the period from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018”, – stated in the message.
The OSCE permanent Council is one of the main legislative bodies of the Organization consisting of representatives of all 57 States-participants of OSCE.
Note that now the mission has 716 observers.

Recall that in January 2017, the OSCE extended the mandate of the observation mission for the 2 border checkpoints of the Ukrainian-Russian border from the Russian side till April 30.
