The Minister of foreign Affairs of Poland Jacek Czaputowicz made for changes in the law on the Institute of national remembrance, which punishes the denial of the crimes of Ukrainian nationalists. This Czaputowicz said in an interview with RMF FM on Saturday, June 9.

“This decision is necessary here that we marked our position, because, as before, there is some mistrust and concern about this situation,” – said Czaputowicz.

The Minister noted that this law is a problem for relations between Poland and the US and Israel.

At the same time, Czaputowicz believes that the law is not conducive to the growth of anti-Semitism in Poland, because “they are not .”

The diplomat also noted that the Polish Parliament can amend the law without the decision of the constitutional court of Poland, who should review the document at the request of President Andrzej Duda.

Earlier, the Ukrainian procession in Poland met antibanderovskie picket. The event was coordinated with the authorities and is associated with honouring the memory of the interned soldiers of the UNR army, who died in the camp near the village of Pikulice.
