Jüri Ratas said that Russia’s aggression in Ukraine undermine the security of Europe.
The occupation of Crimea and sending troops into Eastern Ukraine Russia has violated international law and undermined security in Europe. This was stated by Prime Minister of Estonia jüri Ratas at a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels on Thursday, reports The Baltic Times.
“The occupation of Crimea and sending troops into Eastern Ukraine Russia has violated international law and undermined the security situation in Europe,” said Ratas.
The Prime Minister of Estonia noted that despite the situation, the dialogue within the Council NATO-Russia must continue.
Ratas said that the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova should be Central in this dialogue.
“I lived under occupation, and I know what it means. Freedom has a price”, he added .
