The attempted seizure of the administrative building South of the penal colony №51 (Odessa) prisoners was the result of the instructions of the “thieves in law”, said the first Deputy head of the National police of Ukraine Vyacheslav Abroskin.

“Today in Odessa at the direction of “thieves in law” in a correctional facility offenders have carried out attempt of capture of administrative buildings and committed arson,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

According to Abroskin, the purpose of the incident to destabilize the situation, but through the actions of the officers of the State criminal-Executive service of Ukraine Ukraine they failed.
