The decision of the International court of justice with respect to the existence of its own jurisdiction to consider the matter of the application and interpretation of the International Convention for the suppression of the financing of terrorism and the International Convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination would be costly to Russia, said the ex-Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin.
“What Russia has done and is doing in the Donbass, will be the subject of consideration by the International court of justice. Today’s decision will sverhdorogo cost Russia in all respects. It is a world precedent, and an answer for those who are whining that leverage against the aggressor there. They are, for them to fight,” – wrote Klimkin on his page on the social network Facebook on Friday.
He also added that international legal decisions don’t come immediately.
“But international law is also a real strength,” summed up Klimkin.
