MOSCOW, December 25. /TASS/. The Russian football Union (RFU) has fully repaid accounts payable, no debts of the organization. This was reported to journalists by Vice-Premier of the Russian Federation Vitaly Mutko.

On December 12 he told TASS that he hopes that the organization’s debt will be repaid by the end of 2017.

“We started with 2015, then there was the question of salvation of the RFU, was the debts of 2.6 billion rubles. In 2017, we were supposed to go to zero, and we finish it without debt,” – said Mutko.

The total amount of payables of the RFU on September 2, 2015, when Mutko was elected President of the organization, accounted for 2,581 billion. At the end of 2016 it was 347,8 million rubles. In September 2017 Mutko said that left to repay the debt in the amount of 93 .8 million rubles.
