MOSCOW, January 25. /TASS/. Feature film “Hostage” by the Russian film Director Rezo Gigineishvili was included in the special programme “Panorama” of the 67-th Berlin film festival. About TASS reported in the Russian press agent picture Elena Slatina.

The film is based on real events 19 November 1983 and tells of the attempted hijacking by a group of young men and one woman. Killing both pilots, a flight attendant, several passengers and two of the invaders. The men were sentenced to death, a woman to 14 years in prison. The film actors Merab Ninidze, Irakli Kvirikadze and others.

In addition, in the framework of the Berlinale will host the world premiere of the film “Requiem for Mrs. j” Serbian film Director Boyana Vuletich. The main character of the film, a Serbian woman (played by the famous actress of the Balkan Mirjana Kranowitz), in desperation, decides to commit suicide.

Berlin film festival will take place in 2017 from 9 to 19 February. The Chairman of the jury of the show will be directed by Paul Verhoeven.
