MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. The Russian Navy will receive in 2018, two upgraded nuclear submarines – one multi-purpose project “Ash-M” and one strategic project “Borey”. About it on air of radio station “Echo of Moscow” said the President of the United shipbuilding Corporation (USC) Alexey Rakhmanov.

“This is one of the modernized Yasen and one modernized “Boreas”, – he said.
Rakhmanov reminded that March 31 had been launched the second in a series of multi-purpose submarine project 885 “Yasen-M” “Kazan”.
“The boat goes to extensive testing, will start in the navigation of this year. We agreed that such service will be two. By the end of 2018, we will plan its delivery,” – said Rakhmanov. “Kazan” is under construction on “sevmashe” in 2009 and will join the Northern fleet .
In 2018 it is planned to transfer the Navy of the fourth in a series of “Boreas” – “Prince Vladimir”, which is the first representative of the modernized project 955A. It was founded in 2012 and will be launched this summer.
