TASS, 4 August. Command of Armed forces of Russia won in the competition “Safe environment” of the international Army games, the second place the military of the Republic of Belarus, third in people’s Republic of China. Awards to winners were handed in Kostroma Deputy Minister of defence of the Russian Federation General of the army Nikolai Pankov, said on Saturday the press center of the international Army games.

“A team of Russian soldiers won the international competition of crews of vehicles chemical reconnaissance “Safe environment” which was held in the training center of the “Sand” of the Military Academy of radiation, chemical and biological protection to them. Members of the two crews RKHM-4 at the time overcame dozens of obstacles in gas masks and protective suits: they had to detect “radioactive sources”, “infected items”, completed the track “fire stage”.

For spectators was also an exhibition of military equipment and weapons on the upcoming 100-year anniversary of the troops of radiation, chemical and biological protection of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
