The head of the Ministry of defence of Russia Sergey Shoigu said that the railway bypassing Ukraine will be built by September 2017.

The railroad, which was built in the Rostov and Voronezh region bypassing Ukraine, put into operation.

It is reported by the ekonomichna Pravda with reference to the Russian “Interfax”.

“The labor movement in the zhuravka – Millerovo open. Thus, we can say that the operation of this double-track electrified railway, which was built to bypass neighboring Ukraine”, – said the Agency interlocutor.

According to him, “intensification of the movement on the branch will grow, appropriate plans are being implemented by the Ministry of transport, Russian Railways, other relevant structures.”

The decision on the construction of the railway bypass of a neighboring state for trains of the Central parts of the country to the southern regions, was adopted by the Russian Federation in 2015 .

Earlier on Monday, Russian transport Minister Maxim Sokolov said that the zhuravka – Millerovo will ensure Russia’s independence from the border of neighboring Ukraine.

The decision on the construction of the railway bypassing Ukraine for trains from the Central regions of the country to the southern regions, was adopted by Russia in early 2015.

As reported, 21 Sep 2015, Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on the construction of the railway bypassing Lugansk region of Ukraine in the area of zhuravka (Voronezh oblast) – Millerovo (Rostov region).
