KIEV, may 9. /TASS/. Employees of the security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained and deported to Russia and Kazakhstan journalists of TV channel “Russia” and “the First channel” Valentin Solovyov and Olga Yuriev. On Wednesday reported the press service of the SBU.

“Employees of security Service of Ukraine established that the special correspondent of the Russian “First channel” and TV channel “Russia” sent to Kiev to prepare the biased stories about the celebration in Ukraine of the Victory Day over Nazism in the Second world war – said in the message. The video was planned to be used to discredit Ukraine before the world community and the spread of misinformation among the population”.

SBU has accused journalists in propaganda activities and harm national security. According to the Ministry, Soloviev was sent to Russia, and St. George – in Kazakhstan. Both for three years is forbidden entrance on the territory of Ukraine.

The representative of VGTRK confirmed the TASS information about the deportation of the correspondent of the TV channel from the Ukraine.
