The suspected owner of the “Burimi” (Burisma Holdings), ex-Minister of ecology Mykola Zlochevsky was expanded, adding an article about the embezzlement of public funds in especially large sizes, while the investigation was suspended again in connection with its investigation, said the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan riaboshapka.
“In the production according to Zlochevsky was a stop in connection with the investigation (Zlochevsky – if), production was resumed, changed him suspicion and stopped production again,” said Ryaboshapka at a briefing on Wednesday in Kiev.
The attorney General explained that, in other words, in fact, virtually nothing happened, except for the extension Zlochevskiy suspicions.
Ryaboshapka said that the suspect has added an article about the theft of public funds in especially large amounts (part 5, article 191 of the Criminal code of Ukraine – if).
Zlochevsky held a position of Minister of ecology and natural resources in the government of Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov from July 2010 to April 2012. In late 2014, he left the Ukraine, and in early 2015 it became known that the Prosecutor General’s office declared him wanted on suspicion of illicit enrichment (part 3 of article 368-2 of the criminal code).
The Prosecutor General’s office was investigating some criminal proceedings, a defendant which was Zlochevsky, in 2015-2016 handed one of the cases in the NAB.
