The competition was held on lake Baikal near the village of Staraya Angasolka. They were attended by about 40 athletes from Russia and the CIS.

After the fall of the 27-year-old participant of competitions was evacuated to the hospital of Slyudyanka district, but on the way she died.

The causes of the incident are being investigated. The investigators have to find out why the girl was not saved by the insurance.
