Barr believes that through Nord stream – 2 Russia spreading its influence in Europe.

We will remind that the Minister of energy of the USA Rick Perry called the project of gas pipeline Nord stream-2 the greatest impact on diversification and security of European energy supplies.

The construction of Nord stream-2 to Gazprom’s plans had been completed by the end of 2019, but it delayed due to the fact that Denmark has not yet given permission to lay the pipeline through its territorial waters.

In case of refusal, Gazprom is able to lay the pipe on a different route, however, it would increase the time and cost of construction.
