CHERKESSK, August 6. /TASS/. The participants of the volunteer camp “Academia” organized in Karachay-Cherkessia (KCR) within the Year volunteers cleaned up garbage from one of the popular tourist routes of the Teberdinsky biosphere reserve. This was reported on the website of the reserve.
“Ecovolunteer spent Saturday cleaning and environmental improvement route “Budecska of the lake.” Volunteers cleared the trail of debris and fallen trees,” – said in the message.
The camp is set in a beech forest in 3 km from the farmstead of the reserve. It is planned that participants in the three streams in July-August will be more than 80 volunteers.
The first group of volunteers consisting of 26 people who attended the camp were from the city of Zhukovsky, Moscow region. Volunteers on one of the routes of the reserve was restored washed away by a flood bridge crossings across mountain rivers .
Teberdinsky state natural biosphere reserve, located on the Northern slopes of the Main Caucasian ridge, in 2016, noted the 80th anniversary. Is among the most popular protected areas of Russia, in 1997, included in the international network of biosphere reserves under the UNESCO programme “Man and biosphere”. In the nature reserve there are 17 ecological routes, two of them in Argissa area. The three most popular routes include the turye lake, Budecska lakes and Gamagatsu narzans.
