On the ground in Odessa region unknown blew up munition, which suffered three cadets of the military Academy, reported the local newspaper “Duma” with reference to head of the Academy major General Oleg Playboy.

“Three cadets of the Military Academy of Odessa were injured in blast of unknown ammunition on the territory of educational center of the University in the settlement of the black sea (the Shepherdess)”, – stated in the message on the newspaper’s website on Thursday.

According to Playboy, the incident occurred during a field exit.

“The students noticed on the territory of the training center in the village of the black sea ordnance that did not explode. They took the explosives to get her to a safe area of the landfill for disposal. However, at this moment the explosion happened”, – quotes the edition the head of the Academy.

According to him, the officers received minor shrapnel wounds and in Monday will back to school. They will conduct additional outreach on treatment of explosive devices and ammunition.

A probe into the incident is carried out the RRT and the military Prosecutor’s office.
