MOSCOW, March 19. /Offset. TASS Veronica sovetova/. Only strict discipline and complete obedience will help Russian athletes to win medals at the Olympics in South Korea’s Pyeongchang. This opinion TASS at the end of the biathlon season 2016/17 shared four-time Olympic champion Alexander Tikhonov.

“The team need professionals. And if correct will be a change of coaching staff, right form the command itself, in which strict discipline and absolute obedience, the result of the Games will be, – said Tikhonov. And while I can say that the last three years – down the drain”.
Tikhonov said that all it concerns and Anton Shipulin finished second in the overall standings of the world Cup, but failed to win a medal at the world Championships in the individual race .
“If I was President of the RBU, said he would be ready for its own account, – noted ex-the head of the Union of biathletes of Russia. We are waiting for medals in individual races for 10 years and I can’t wait. The world championship is the crown of all. And where does discipline and respect for their sport, the result is not wait.”
Tikhonov said that he was not mistaken in their forecasts for the season. “I’m over two months to write predictions for the season and never made a mistake,” he said.
