The number of people killed in a fire in the building of the Odessa College of Economics, law and hotel and restaurant business has increased to three, according to the Department of communication of the police of Odessa region.

“Only law enforcement officers pulled from the rubble of the building on Trinity St. the charred body of another person. It’s a woman. Her identity is established”, – is spoken in the message.

It is noted that as of 6 Dec 15:30 all in the fire killed three people, searching for another 12 are ongoing.

As reported at 10:12 environment in the Odessa College of Economics, law and hotel and restaurant business on the third floor of a six storey educational building was on fire, the area of which reached 4 thousand square meters In 14:18 the same day, it was localized, however, as of Thursday morning and not eliminated.

The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that the fire at the Odessa College as of 6:00 on Thursday killed one student, 14 are still missing, including five students, 27 victims are hospitalized.

Law enforcement officers on 5 December confirmed the discovery of a woman’s body under the rubble of the burned structures housing College and informed that there are 31 injured as a result of the incident.

The national police also noted that police found the whereabouts of the woman with whom communication was lost and she was missing: “Now she’s all right.”
