NEW YORK, April 5. /Offset. TASS Kirill Volkov/. The President of the United States Donald trump ruled out of the national security Council (NSC) at the White house her senior adviser Stephen Bannon. This was reported by Bloomberg.
According to a source familiar with the situation, trump has reorganized the composition of the SNB. In addition to the exclusion’bannon in particular he gave his assistant for national security Herbert McMaster right to determine the agenda for meetings of the Council. However, trump has lowered the powers of the NSS to his assistant for homeland security and counter-terrorism Thomas Bossert .

In addition, the Chairman of the joint chiefs of staff of the Armed forces of the United States General Joseph Dunford and the Director of national intelligence Daniel Coates will again participate in the meetings of the NSC on a permanent basis. Informed trump of his decree ordered that Coates and Dunford attended the meetings only as needed.
The white house issued a list of the members of the NSC, dated April 4, which lacks the post 63-year-old’bannon. In this case the list contains Dunford and Coates.
In January, trump signed a decree on the reorganization of the NSS, providing for the involvement of the 63-year-old Bannon, appointed senior Advisor and chief polystrata the White house. Previously, he was chief editor of news portal News Breitbart (“Breitbart news”), which many Americans blamed for spreading nationalist ideas. During the election campaign of 2016 Bannon worked in the election headquarters of the trump.
Many politicians and experts called a serious mistake the decision by trump to include Bannon in the composition of the SNB. So, Congressman, Democrat Adam Smith said, it politicizes the work of the Council, as’bannon is “a right-wing political strategist,” which could “endanger global security and strengthen the enemies” of the US.
The national security Council, established in 1947, is an Advisory body under the President of the United States involved in the development of decisions on major issues of foreign policy and defence of the country. In addition to the President, who is head of the NSS, it includes a narrow circle of people, including Vice-President, the Secretary, the Secretary of defense, the Minister of Finance, chief of staff, White house staff, assistant to the President for national security. According to the decision of the President, the NSC may include other persons, such as the U.S. permanent representative to the UN. At the same time, advisers of the White house working on issues of domestic policy, it has not previously been entered.
