PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo” signed a contract with PJSC “Turboatom” (Kharkov) on modernization, supply and installation of equipment worth 92 million UAH.

According to the press release “Ukrhydroenergo” on Monday, “Turboatom” performs the modernization of turbine equipment with the replacement of the turbine shaft, the impeller chamber, auxiliary systems and process automation, and will participate in the commissioning of hydroelectric unit of station No. 1 affiliate “Kakhovska HPP”.

Contract implementation is scheduled for 2017-2018 years.

The press release notes that “Turboatom” has designed, manufactured and supplied hydro and pumped storage “Ukrhydroenergo” 99 hydro turbines, including the three most powerful in Europe pump-turbines 410,23 MW for hydroelectric units No. 1-No. 3 of Dniester pumped storage power plant .

“Ukrhydroenergo” operates all major hydropower plants located in the Ukrainian sections of the Dnipro and Dniester. The total installed electric capacity of hydroelectric power generating companies is 5744,8 MW (8.6% of the entire generating capacity of the IPS of Ukraine). The state represented by the Ministry of energy and mines holds a 100% stake in the company.

“Turboatom” – the only Ukrainian producer of turbine equipment for hydro, thermal and nuclear power plants. The geography of deliveries of the enterprise covers 45 countries in Europe, Asia, America and Africa. The state owns 75% of shares of PJSC.

In January-June 2017 the company received net profit in the amount of 372,37 million, which is 13.5% less than the same indicator for the same period in 2016, the net profit of PJSC remained almost at the level of January-June of last year, amounting to 1 billion 053 million.
