Secretary of the national security Council and defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov and Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova for reintegration, Gheorghe Belan at the meeting discussed the issues of deepening cooperation between the two countries in the sphere of security and defense.

“Separately, the parties discussed the issues of hybrid aggression of Russia against Ukraine and Moldova”, – said the press service of the NSDC.

“Hybrid aggression against a sovereign country began in 1992, with Moldova”, – said Oleksandr Turchynov, stressing that the failure of the Russian Federation of international obligations to withdraw its military from Transnistria is one of the factors of destabilization of security in Europe.

G. Belan said that Ukraine delivers Moldova “is a good example of countering the aggression, in particular, anti-Russian propaganda .” “We adopted a draft law on restricting the broadcasting of news programs from those countries that have not signed the European Convention on transboundary television,” he explained.

In addition, the parties expressed interest in coordinating action to restore the territorial integrity of Moldova and Ukraine and security in Europe.
