The security service of Ukraine has to analyze the information about the stay in the Crimea, politicians from Europe and other countries to introduce sanctions against them. This was stated by the NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov, the press service of the Ministry.

“SBU shall prepare and submit for review to the national security and defense Council a list of officials from the European Parliament, and politicians from European Union countries, CIS and Latin America, which, according to Russian media reports, arrived on a three-day visit to annexed Crimea,” said Turchynov.

According to Turchynov, in the case of confirmation of this information at the meeting of the Council will consider the imposition against them of penalties.

“In addition, verification is also information about staying in the Crimea citizens of Ukraine”, – said Turchinov .

If the information is confirmed, then against the citizens of Ukraine open criminal proceedings. “If confirmed information about participation in this advocacy of the Ukrainian citizens, against them must be opened criminal proceedings in accordance with the current legislation”, – summed Turchinov.
