TASS, August 3. Tim Turieva won the gold medal in the championship of Russia on weightlifting in a weight category to 63 kg. the Tournament is held in Cheboksary.

Turieva the sum of two exercises raised 231 kg (106 kg in the snatch and 125 in the clean and jerk). Second place went to Tatiana Aleeva (219, 99+120), the third was Olga (205, 95+110). Turieva is a world champion (2013) and two-time silver medalist of the world Cup (2014, 2015). Also in 2014, she won gold at the European championship, and in 2017 – bronze.

Anastasia Romanova won in the weight category up to 69 kg, the result is 242 kg (110+132). Second place went to Alla Kaitukov (232, 106+126), the third – Yana Kondrashova (222, 99+123). Romanova – champion of Europe in 2017 and the bronze medalist of the world championship 2015 .

Sergey Petrov won the gold medal in the weight category up to 69 kg, having lifted in the total sum of 328 kg (150+178). Second place went to Dmitry Striga (327, 151+176), the third was a fail Zakirov (318, 145+173). Petrov twice became the silver medalist of the European Championships in weightlifting (2015, 2016).

The championship of Russia on weightlifting will end on August 7th.
