Turkey is planning up to 2017, to the treatment and rehabilitation of about 30 thousand medical tourists from Ukraine, informed the Agency “Interfax-Ukraine” the Director of official representative office of the Turkish healthcare travel Council THTC-Ukraine Ibrahim Unsal.

According to him, in 2016, Turkey has adopted for the treatment and rehabi litation of 25 thousand patients.

Thus, for the first nine months of 2017 treatment and rehabilitation in Turkey have already passed 27 thousand patients from Ukraine.

He also said that Turkey supports the programs of training and advanced training for Ukrainian doctors, financed entirely by the government and the Ministry of health of Turkey.

In these programmes each year, about 100 doctors are trained in the latest medical technologies in Turkey.

I. Unsal stressed that the growth of the medical tourism flow from Ukraine to Turkey promotes, among other things, the absence of a visa regime with Ukraine, as well as the high quality of medical services and the use of new medical technologies in private and public hospitals of Turkey.
