The Head Of The European Council Donald Tusk

The most important ally of Poland at all times was the United States of America, said the head of the European Council.

Poland was not and never will be a better ally than the United States. This was stated by the head of the European Council Donald Tusk in his lecture at the University of Warsaw, reports TVN24.

“We haven’t had and probably won’t in the foreseeable future better ally than the United States. And I am very pleased that despite my criticism of the current Polish authorities have good relations with America to develop,” he said.

Earlier it was reported that the Polish authorities agreed to increase US troop levels in the country.

We will remind, last year the President of Poland Andrzej Duda asked US about hosting a permanent American military base. According to the Polish leader, the question of creating such a base has already been resolved and left technical issues. The Russian foreign Ministry said that plans to establish a US military base in Poland pose a threat to Russia.
