Among the victims of the fire at the Odessa hotel “Tokyo Star” – two foreign nationals and the baby, said the representative of the Odessa regional state administration.

At a briefing in Odesa on Saturday, he said that 10 injured were hospitalized, of whom seven are in serious condition, two in moderate condition.

Among the hospitalized are a foreigner – a citizen of Sierra Leone. Suffered a citizen of Lithuania, he received outpatient care at the hospital, refused hospitalization.

In addition, the child suffered.

According to the representative of regional administration, all the victims got burns of a body and respiratory ways and a poisoning with burning products.

He also said that seven people died at the scene of the fire, one in the car “ambulance”.

“Among the patients who provided medical care: two inhabitants of Odessa; three inhabitants of Odessa region; one resident of the Kherson region; one resident Sums; one resident of Mariupol; one citizen of Lithuania and a citizen of Sierra Leone,” – said the representative of RSA.

As reported, in Odessa in the night of Saturday, August 17, there was a fire in hotel “Old Tokyo” in str, 1 in which killed eight people, another 10 people were injured. According to the information SSES, among the victims there are people in serious condition. According to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, four of the victims – in critical condition.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman instructed to immediately begin large-scale inspections of places of recreation of citizens, especially hotels and resorts.

In the Unified register of pretrial investigations included information under part 2 of article 270 (violation established by the legislation of fire safety requirements) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
