Airline “Ukraine International airlines” (UIA, Kyiv) will pay EUR250 compensation and will refund the cost of unused tickets for each passenger flight PS55 “Kiev-Odessa”, dated may 26, got off the plane because of the actions of employees of the service company “Aerohandling,” said MAU on Facebook.

“We are very sorry for the situation and for the inconvenience faced by our passengers… Passengers will be refunded the cost of unused ticket Kiev – Odessa, as well as, under the rules of the UIA, will be compensated in the amount of EUR250. Now the UIA is preparing a claim against the service company “Aerohandling” about the situation, which occurred on may 26,” – said in a statement the airline.

In MAU stressed that the situation with around 30 passengers of flight through the fault of “Aerohandling”, currently under internal investigation.

“All passengers who have not departed, was given food and the opportunity to choose an alternative option to reach the destination. Passengers who choose to fly the next day in Odessa were accommodated in the hotel”, – stated in the press service of the airline.

As reported, UIA PS55 “Kiev-Odessa” on may 26, flew away, leaving some of the passengers who have registered at the airport.

Later, for the situation an apology on behalf of the company brought by the General Director of “Aerohandling” Oleg Golokhvastov, saying that the incident occurred due to the deterioration of the health of the employee of ground handling company.
