Ukraine and Moldova have agreed on the construction of a bypass road in the Palanca, which will allow to carry out capital repair of the bridge on the highway Odessa – Reni near the same locality.
As reported a press-service of the Odessa regional state administration, on Monday the branch held a meeting of the group of deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with participation of the head of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov, the Chairman of the Odessa regional Council Anatoly Urban and Minister of regional development and construction of the Republic of Moldova Vasily Bitki. The meeting participants discussed the construction of a bypass road through the territory of Moldova for carrying out capital repairs of the bridge, which involves repair of the supports and strengthen the construction. The total cost of the project amounts to 76 million .
“The presence of this path will enable faster to get to the southern districts of Odessa region and discharge passage in the area of Zatoka on the holiday season”, – reports a press-service of the Odessa regional state administration.
The Moldavian party promised before the end of the week to approve a given project. It is planned that by April 7, all the decisions will be enshrined in official documents.
“The timing of the introduction of detours in operation, I hope that before may 1 the road will be built, and we let the flow of cars. Next, we till the end of summer finish fixed bridge. I am sincerely grateful to our Moldovan colleagues, we quickly found constructive and clearly understand step-by-step algorithm, where and how we move forward”, – commented on the agreement head of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov.
“We agreed that the Ukrainian side as soon as possible will provide us with all the documents for the bridge construction and roads, so we confirmed them at the local level and handed them over to the work of the builders. At the local level we have agreed with the mayors and regional authorities to these actions were all legal procedures according to the legislation of the Republic of Moldova”, – said in his turn V.
