Ukraine in January 2018 and increased imports of coal and anthracite coal (HS code 2701) to 1.8 times (to 1 million 1,011 thousand tonnes) compared to the same month last year – up to 2 million 250,115 thousand tons.

According to the State fiscal service, the coal imported in the amount of $281,161 million, which is 64.5% more than in January-2017 ($170,897 million).

In particular, from Russia received the coal at $170,579 million (import share 60,67%), US $91,017 million (32,37%), from Canada – $13.1 million (4,66%), from other countries – $6,465 million (2.3 percent).

At the same time Ukraine in January-2018 exported 43,316 thousand tons of coal and anthracite $of 7.798 million, including to Russia – $4,597 million, Slovakia – $3,201 million.

As reported, Ukraine in 2011 imported coal and anthracite at $2 billion 760,897 million and exported for $775,109 million in 2012 – $2 billion 637,028 million and $609,392 million in 2013 – $1 billion 973,751 million and $737,009 million in 2014 – $1 billion 773,195 million and $521,017 million in 2015 and $1 billion 632,478 million and $53,651 million, in 2016 – $1 billion 467,091 million and $44,762 million, in 2017 – $2 billion 744,062 million and $105,494 million
