The NSDC of Ukraine will receive from the government proposals to expand anti-Russian sanctions. The reason was the territorial claim of Kiev to the Crimea, reports “Russian conversation”.

At the Cabinet meeting it was decided to introduce restrictive measures against those involved in the implementation of the gas pipeline “Krasnodar Region – Crimea” and coal mining in the Crimean Peninsula. In the sanctions list there were 18 legal entities from the Russian mainland and 6 from the Crimea. In addition, the list includes the companies cooperating with are located in the Crimean Peninsula plant of the defense industry of the Russian Federation, JSC “Zavod Phiolent”.

The Ukrainian side expects that future sanctions will prevent these companies maintain economic relations with the EU and the USA. Kiev considers their activity in Crimea “illegal” and allegedly poses a threat to the national interests of Ukraine.
