State concern “Ukroboronprom” will present the future developments of the Ukrainian defense industry on the 13-th international exhibition of defense промышленностиIDEF-2017, which will be held 9-12 of may in Istanbul (Turkey), reported the press service of the state concern on Friday.
According to the report, the visitors of the Ukrainian pavilion in the exhibition will be able to see c for the first time presented potential customers with a portable rocket launcher, a promising armored vehicles, in particular BTR-3E1, “Dozor-B”, BM “Oplot”, missile, artillery and small arms.
In addition, the stand will be presented to the full-scale sample of the new Ukrainian drum remote-controlled robotic complex “Phantom” with ATGM “Barrier”. For the first time presented to a wide international audience in February at the international defence exhibition IDEX-2017 in Abu Dhabi (UAE) Ukrainian robotics caused growing interest from specialists and journalists .
According to the press service, in the work of the IDEF-2017 will be attended by 15 companies and five exporters of “Ukroboronprom”. Including GCCB “Ray” SE “Zavod im. Malysheva”, SE “CB “Artillery weapons”, SE “Kyiv plant “Radar”, SE “Antonov”, SJSHC “Artem”, state enterprise “Scientific-production complex “Photopribor”, SE “Konotop aircraft repair plant “Aviacon”, SE “Issledovatelsko-the design center of shipbuilding”, state company “UkrSpetsExport”, goshima “Ukrinmash”.
International defense industry exhibition IDEF is included in the top ten of the world’s largest arms fairs. According to the organizers, in the work of the IDEF-2017 will be attended by about 300 defence companies from 50 countries.
As reported, Kyiv and Ankara has stepped up bilateral military-technical cooperation in the new geopolitical situation in 2014. Among the promising areas of cooperation is considered breitensteini, Aero engines, radar, navigation, communications, missile weapons.
According to sources, the Agency “Interfax-Ukraine” in the defense sector, Ukraine can take part in several defense programs of Turkey on creation of certain types of weapons, including the establishment of a Turkish fighter jet and a Turkish main battle tank (MBT) Altay is the third generation. Currently, the “Ukroboronprom” and the Turkish Aselsan fulfill the possibility of establishing technological cooperation in the field of opto-electronic equipment. In the fall of 2016, part of “Ukroboronprom” Hospira “Ukrinmash” and Turkish Havelsan Hava Elektronik Sanayi signed an agreement on joint development of means electronic intelligence (RTR).
In early 2017 “Ukroboronprom” announced plans to open in Turkey, the mission of state concern.
