Clashes occurred between opponents and supporters of Erdogan.

In Brussels at the Embassy of Turkey, clashes broke out between opponents and supporters of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. As a result, several people were injured, according to the newspaper Le Soir.

Police in Belgium were forced to intervene after group of Turks attacked with knives by a group of Kurds who came to vote in the referendum. The wounded were hospitalized, but their exact number is not called.

 

 

The demonstrators remained in the Embassy until late Thursday evening, March 30. The Embassy building is a polling station for voting in the referendum on extension of powers of the President of Turkey.
