The U.S. will continue to help the people of Ukraine in defending their security and territorial integrity, said the adviser to the U.S. President for homeland security John Bolton following the meeting, the Vice-President of the USA Mike Pence and President Vladimir Zelensky.

“Glad to be in Poland with the Vice President. During his meeting with President Zelensky message of the Vice-President could not be clearer: the United States has acted, and will act together with the people of Ukraine for the security and territorial integrity,” Bolton wrote on Twitter.

Earlier it was reported that the Vice-President of the United States and the President of Ukraine on Sunday met in Warsaw in the framework of participation in the memorial events on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Second world war. Following the meeting, Pence said that he was pleased with the negotiations with Zelensky.

“Today was a wonderful meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, where were discussed the issues of security, energy, economic growth and the progress of his reform program,” wrote Vice-President on Twitter after a meeting with Zelensky.

“Relations of the USA and Ukraine have never been stronger than under the presidency of Donald trump,” said Pence.
