The singer considers tennis a job, not life.
29-year-old Belarusian Victoria Azarenka answered the question when planning to retire, writes “Tribune”.
“It’s hard to say, because I don’t feel that I’m soon 30 years. Physically I feel much better than when I was 20 or 22. And in the 18-19 years I’ve said I wasn’t going to play after 27, and it is not so.
So I don’t want don’t want to say so, but I have a feeling that I have about five years until my son went to school. Tennis is my job, not life, but I want to go all out in this period, but we’ll see. I’m not sure that I will play after 35, but anything could happen.
Tennis players have no childhood, only training, physical training, and tournaments, the main thing is victory and success. Tennis becomes your life. But when I became a mother, this has faded into the background. As much as I loved tennis, the son of my priority list, and that will never change.“
