Chairing the meeting, first Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Gerashchenko urged the administration not to strain the situation and speak the Ukrainian language.

“Mr. Vilkul, you have the perfect Ukrainian language,” she said .

In turn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy, who briefly went out and returned at this point in the plenary hall, has called on all MPs to communicate at the plenary meeting on national language and expressed the hope that in the near future will be able to regulate the issue of language use in Parliament.
