One of the largest producers of potato starch in Ukraine – the group of companies “Vimal” (Chernihiv region) in September of 2018, it plans to launch a third plant in the potato processing capacity of 1440 tons/day.
“In the fall of 2018, we are launching a new production to satisfy our customers’ needs, as well as to the implementation of the project of deep processing of potatoes,” – said in a press release.
The new plant is being built with technical support from the Danish company Sicca Dania.
In addition to potato starch, the new plant is planned to produce pharmaceutical starch and special starch for yeast production.
“After the launch of starch production in 2018, we plan to 2020, the commissioning of the plant, which will get your protein from potato juice to produce a dry potato fiber and liquid organic fertilizer”, the report cited the company’s founder Victor Lazar .
According to him, technical potato protein is a high protein liquid feed, and food protein – an excellent raw material for the food industry.
The group of companies “Vimal” was founded in 1992 by Viktor Lazar, is the largest exporter of potato starch from Ukraine. The group includes the units “Vimal Starch”, “Vimal agro”, “Viralspiral”, “Vimal-Auto”.
“Vimal” supplies its products to more than 25 countries, including Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Thailand, China.
